Therapists play a crucial role in the effective delivery of Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), yet many face challenges related to implementation, stigma, and coordination with medical providers. This presentation will provide a foundational understanding of MOUD and explore how therapists can integrate these medications into comprehensive treatment plans while addressing client concerns, adherence issues, and systemic barriers.
