Artificial Intelligence (AI) is here, in the courthouse. Judges need to understand it and recognize it in court filings and documents. They also need to learn how AI tools can be used in their judicial practice and in their court's data management.
This course offers the next generation of AI training for judges who have some AI familiarity. It dives deep into AI use by judges and courts, addressing the risks and opportunities that AI presents. It offers hands-on experience in using different forms of AI and responding to parties' use of AI.
Sessions include the ethics of AI use (data security, privacy, and confidentiality) and courthouse AI governance. This course will prepare judges to use AI responsibly, to streamline administrative tasks, manage their dockets and data, and obtain information for their deliberation and adjudication.
This course will showcase how trial judges, administrative law judges, appellate judges, and court administrators are using AI every day. It will give participants the understanding they need to apply AI tools when they return home. Judges on the faculty will demonstrate a variety of AI tools throughout the course, allowing participants to select ones that will work best for their needs.
The sessions will include discussions that will engage you in how you and your court may use AI in the years ahead. This course is expected to sell out. Sign up now!
