“Dealing Responsibly with Hurricane Harvey (Weinstein) and the #Me Too Crisis” will be one of the workshops during a three-day a Trial Court Leadership Conference this October in St. Louis.
The conference, titled “Launching and Leading Turnarounds to Reshape and Renew Courts,” is a collaborative partnership of the National Association for Presiding Judges and Court Executive Officers and the National Center for State Courts. It will take place Oct. 14–17 at the St. Louis Ritz-Carlton.
Other scheduled workshops include: “After Ferguson: A Case for Minimum Operating Standards for Limited Jurisdiction Courts,” “Jailed for Being Too Poor: The National Task Force Report on Fines, Fees, Bail Reform,” and “Improving the Justice System Response to Mental Illness.”
