The Texas Bar Foundation has awarded a $12,000 grant for Texas judges attend the College’s flagship General Jurisdiction course for new judges. The grant will provide $2,000 scholarships for six judges to attend the two-week course during either the spring or fall 2018 sessions.
The College will match the funding dollar-for-dollar to establish six $4,000 awards. The Texas Office of Court Administration in concert with the Texas Center for the Judiciary will select the recipients. Since its inception in 1965, the Texas Bar Foundation has awarded more than $18 million in grants to law-related programs.
