NJC created webinars on state/federal election law and judicial ethics in the election context. We convened an in-person program in Chicago, where both faculty and participants had experience in these cases. They decided to share their knowledge and experience more broadly, which led to the NJC Bench Guide to High-Profile Election Cases.
To assist judges who may not know they need to learn election law until November 6, NJC created three new resources that require less than 3 hours of judges’ time:
- Webinar: Judicial Practice, led by MN Judge Edward T. Wahl
- Webinar: Evidence & Experts, led by Judge Wahl, with Stanford Professor Justin Grimmer
- Podcast: Controversy Beyond the Courtroom, with NJC’s Alf W. Brandt interviewing NPR’s Hansi Lo Wang and the PA Supreme Court’s PIO, Stacey Witalec
