This course will be a practical skills-based skill-oriented approach to court administration tailored specifically for judges.

Understanding the administrative functions of courts is critical to a court’s success. In order to help you ensure you have the right tools for your daily challenges, the National Judicial College is pleased to announce that we will be convening our inaugural Court Administration Academy for Presiding and All Judges June 18 through June 21 at the South Carolina Judicial Branch Judicial Education Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Judges at all levels in metropolitan and rural courts are invited and are encouraged to send their court clerks and court administrators.

This course will focus on a skills-based approach to court administration tailored specifically for judges at all levels and court administration personnel. After taking this course, participants will understand the administrative roles and responsibilities of presiding judges and judges at various levels, and will have acquired practical tools to apply to the every-day and long-term administrative requirements and challenges of their positions.
