The National Judicial College is seeking a part-time Director of Human Resources to oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Your work will support the company's mission, goals, and objectives while ensuring legal compliance.
The ideal qualified candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or similar field
- At least 12 years of human resources experience.
- Recruitment, onboarding, legal compliance, and employee relations expertise.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP or SPHR))
- Experience working with a nonprofit
Created more than a half-century ago at the recommendation of a U.S. Supreme Court justice, The National Judicial College remains the only educational institution in the United States that teaches courtroom skills to judges of all types from all over the country, Indian Country and abroad. The categories of judges served by this nonprofit and nonpartisan institution, based in Reno, Nevada, since 1964, decide more than 95 percent of the cases in the United States.
