Judicial Security DVD Available for Judges

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, threats against judges have quadrupled in the last decade. Many of these threats have taken place in the judge's home or vehicle. The Marshals Service has created a program on judicial security called Project 365, which aims to keep the judiciary safe every day of the year.

A new DVD on judicial awareness and security, created by the U.S. Marshals National Center for Judicial Security (NCJS), will soon be available for judges. Copies of the DVD can be ordered from the NJC, the National Center for State Courts (NCSC), all sheriff’s offices and U.S. Marshals offices, as well as any other requesting body within the judicial and law enforcement family.
