Cancellation Policy
The National Judicial College reserves the right to cancel or reschedule
any listed course. If a course is cancelled, a full refund of all fees
paid for the course will be issued. In the event that a course must be
cancelled, the NJC will provide at least 30 days notice. If a course is
cancelled and the participant has purchased airline tickets, the NJC will
reimburse the participant for the cost of the change ticket fee if the
participant transfers to another course within one year. If the participant
elects not to transfer into another course, the NJC will reimburse only
the tuition and conference fees that the participant has paid. The NJC
reserves the right to limit the enrollment in any scheduled class.

Attendance
The National Judicial College has a responsibility to the funding agencies

sponsor your attendance. The NJC must ensure that the tax dollars spent
on continuing education are utilized for maximum benefit. It is, therefore,
the policy and practice of the NJC not to award a Certificate of Completion
to any participant who fails to attend all educational sessions. Participants
who are unable to attend a class session(s) due to an emergency situation
must contact the program attorney/manager for the course immediately.
If any portion
of the course is missed, a participant may have to submit a written project
determined in consultation with the program attorney/manager for the course.
Failure to receive written permission or completion of the written project
may result in the denial of the Certificate of Completion and notification
to the funding agency and/or revocation of financial assistance.
