| NJC
Faculty
The
NJC faculty consists of judges and industry professionals who offer participants
a wealth of national and international experience. Outstanding judges,
lawyers and law professors from across the nation serve without compensation
as members of the NJC faculty. They are joined by representatives of other
disciplines including physicians, psychologists, sociologists and computer/technology
experts. Each year, more than 250 faculty members offer lectures, workshops,
panels and structured discussion groups. Faculty members are chosen for
their experience and expertise and consistently receive high marks from
participants. On average, donated faculty time is equivalent to more than
$1.7 million annually.
NJC Faculty
Council
There are
ten members on the Faculty Council who serve on staggered three year terms.
The members of the Faculty Council continue to recognize the outstanding
efforts of the College's volunteer faculty through hosted faculty receptions
and dinners, commemorative awards, faculty development workshops for in-person
and distance education programs, and special recognition for NJC outreach
efforts.
